The IELTS Listening test will take about 30 minutes, and you willhave an extra 10 minutes to transfer your answers to the answersheet. - Listening section 1: This is the first section of yourListening test. Listen to the audio and answer questions 1-10. -Listening section 2: This is the second section of your Listeningtest. Listen to the audio and answer questions 11-20. - Listeningsection 3: This is the third section of your Listening test. Listento the audio and answer questions 21-30. - Listening section 4:This is the fourth section of your Listening test. Listen to theaudio and answer questions 31-40.

In the Speaking test, you have a discussion with a certifiedExaminer. It is interactive and as close to a real-life situationas a test can get. The test is 11 to 14 minutes long with threeparts. In Part 1, you answer questions about yourself, your family,your work and your interests. In Part 2, you speak about a topic.You will be given a task card which asks you to speak about aparticular topic and includes points that you can cover in yourtalk. You will be given 1 minute to prepare your talk. You willthen speak for 1-2 minutes. In Part 3, you have a longer discussionon the topic. The examiner will ask you further questions connectedto the topic in Part 2. The Speaking test is the same for bothAcademic and General Training tests.
